Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Silverline Umber Civic Services Group supports public agencies in Denver with budgeting, records and programmes. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in constituent requests and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on procurement. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
