Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Spokane. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
