Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Loom Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Cleveland, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on premium billing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
