Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Lumen Beacon Staffing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for timekeeping, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 169 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Investigate trends in timekeeping and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
