Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Rivermark Lantern Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Denver. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in catastrophe response and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
