Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Clearpath Hollow Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Buffalo area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in service installations and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
