Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Cedar Bridge Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in seasonal crews and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
