Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (remote)

Clearpath Wilder Insurance Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
