Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Haven Learning Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Investigate trends in learning materials and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on school calendars. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
