Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Philadelphia, PA)

Cedar Kestrel Markets Associates operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on store inventory. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
