Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Philadelphia, PA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Ridge Insurance and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
