Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Omaha, NE)

Bluepeak Junction Staffing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Recruiters here keep in touch with people long after placement. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
