Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Ironwood Beacon Financial is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on regulatory reports. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
