Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Harbor Freight Associates is a New Orleans logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
