Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Memphis, TN)

Cedar Rowan Farms Group is an agricultural business based around Memphis. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on grower contracts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
