Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Memphis, TN)

Highbridge West Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Memphis design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in fare systems and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on survey data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
