Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Madison, WI)

Bright Vista Insurance is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on catastrophe response.
