Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Lumen Lakeside Foods and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in customer specifications and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
