Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Kansas City, MO)

Summit Umber Facilities is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in safety inspections and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on supply orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
