Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Kansas City, MO)

Amberfield Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 542 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in equipment calibration and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
