Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jacksonville, FL)

Northwind Lantern Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Jacksonville area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on water quality. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
