Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Silverline Linden Foods is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on allergen controls. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
