Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

Lumen Ashton Health Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for patient scheduling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in patient scheduling and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on referrals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
