Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Nova Vale Housing and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Investigate trends in resident services and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on waiting lists. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
