Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Clear Energy and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
