Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Beacon Water Authority Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
