Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Lantern Auto Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on warranty claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
