Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook North Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Hartford area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on attendance records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
