Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sparrow Arts Center and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in event logistics and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on ticketing. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
