Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Rowan Civic Services is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
