Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight North Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Grand Rapids area, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 129 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
