Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Ridge Early Learning runs childcare centres in Grand Rapids caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in classroom supplies and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on licensing records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
