Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Cincinnati, OH)

Westbrook Mill Energy is an energy provider in Cincinnati focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
