Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Beacon Early Learning and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 44 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
