Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Oak Hospitality and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in group events and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on supplier orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
