Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone West Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Buffalo, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in volunteer programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
