Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Boise, ID)

Bright Fern Hospitality is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for supplier orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate trends in supplier orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on food costs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
