Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Granite Construction Group delivers building projects for owners across the Boise region, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
