Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Boise, ID)

Amberfield Glen Health Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for insurance authorisations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in insurance authorisations and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on electronic records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
