Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Rowan Foods and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on ingredient orders. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
