Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Lumen West Freight and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be forecasting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in customer tracking and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
