Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Austin, TX)

Northwind Timber Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Austin area. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Investigate trends in student accounts and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on family communication. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
