Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Austin, TX)

Cedar Ashton Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Austin, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Austin. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in test reports and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on equipment calibration. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
