Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Austin, TX)

Summit Wilder Staffing is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for client orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on onboarding. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
