Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Sable Staffing Group is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on forecasting for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in temp assignments and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on retention. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
