Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

Bluepeak Corner Medical Associates designs and makes medical devices in Anchorage. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on forecasting. You would join a large organisation of about 396 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in regulatory submissions and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
