Senior Data Analyst - forecasting (Anchorage, AK)

Redstone Quarry Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Anchorage, and we need a Senior Data Analyst to lead our forecasting. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Investigate trends in grower contracts and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
