Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

Amberfield Rowan Foods Group is a San Diego food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to take on dashboard development. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in production batches and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
