Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Summit Water Authority Group and adding a Senior Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be dashboard development. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on pipe repairs. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
