Senior Data Analyst - dashboard development (San Antonio, TX)

Fernwood Cross Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Data Analyst. The job centres on dashboard development for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 86 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on route schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
